We had to go to the grocery store this morning to get some chili sauce to go in tonight's supper. As we were shopping Savannah asked "Mommy what do we need that for". So I explained that we were going to make meatballs with sauce for supper. She then said "Mommy I want to help you with that". So after lunch I let her help me prepare the meal! I think her favorite part was stirring up all the stuff. But she also enjoyed dumping the ingredients in the bowl. She really is a good helper most of the time. She just has major issues with cleaning up after herself. So that is a daily battle that we face. I've decided that she is going to get a handful of toys each day to play with. That way she doesn't have 50 items out at a time. Nor does she have all 50 things scattered from room to room. Should have thought of this long ago!!!
I'm not sure if I posted this already or not but Savannah is officially potty trained now!!! Woo Hoo! We are still dealing with the night time issue right now but hopefully that will work it's way out soon.
In case anyone is wondering why I haven't posted much over the past few months...... we decided at the first of the year to get our house ready to sale. We put it on the market the first of February and it sold in 4 weeks!!! So we have been very busy dealing with all the stress that comes with selling and also trying to find a place to live. It didn't take us long once we started having to find somewhere for our family to go (we have to be out of our house by 4-24-09). We found a house right up the road from where we are now that is still being built! Even though it is nice to be able to pick out everything..... it's also a lot of stress! I'm not complaining by any means.... God has blessed us in many ways over the past 6 months!! But being pregnant with a 2 1/2 year old to care for, selling a house and buying is a lot to deal with at the time!

i had been waiting to tell ray about you new house since he couldn't comprehend the timeframe...well matt must have told him while i was out of town...so he mentioned that it was S's house and i told him it would be soon that it still needs sinks and pottys before you can move in...so now every house in the neighborhood that is under construction he asks if its your and i say no...then he responds- oh yeah, S needs sink and potty!
