Catching Up

Sam is starting to hold his bottle more now but only
if you make him.... or when Mommy lets him :)

Savannah got to hunt egg's before Easter this year. Her friend Ellie
had an Easter themed birthday party.

Savannah and Ellie

Savannah was asked to hand out bubbles
at our cousin Tina's wedding. She looked
so precious in her pretty dress. I had a flash forward
to 20+ years from now when we tried on this dress.
I could just envision helping her put on her
wedding dress someday.

I let Savannah have her first sleep over! Klara was an angel but
Savannah was far from it. She kept everyone up till 11 then
she was up at 5:30 am. Sweeww!

I got the pool out one day
last week when it got 80+ outside. By the end of the day
it was filled with pollen.

Sam has a natural cow lick on the back of his head. Instead
of slicking it down after bath time I gave him a mowhawk!

Savannah has started washing her hands really
well now. She doesn't even make a mess most
of the time. So I've been letting her do this more
instead of just Germ X all the time.

Well with pretty much everyone being on Facebook these days I have been less motivated to update the good ole blog. It takes a lot longer to update this than to add a few pics here and there to FB!! So I probably will just update this every couple of months from now on.

Savannah has really matured a lot since Sam's arrival to the family.... well that and she is 7mths older now too. She loves to help me cook, clean and take care of Sam. I think she is going to be a little (bossy) Mommy just like me. I'm not proud of the fact that I am bossy but hey it's just me. Savannah has been a great big sister to Sam and I can tell she really loves him. It touches my heart to watch them play. Now when we have company it's a bit of a different story.... she prefers all the attention then. She really enjoys going places and having people over. I like having people over but I have to admit I'm a bit of a homebody. She must have inherited that trait from someone else. Jason likes to do stuff but not nearly as much as her. We are still doing gymnastics once a week. Savannah does good but still has trouble following directions. Hopefully this will improve with age!! We are applying for the county pre-k program that starts in August. They only have 16 spots available and I am praying that she will get one of those spots. We have a lot of issues with Savannah paying attention and comprehending when I try to teach her.

Sam is getting so big. He can say "Da-da," "Ba-ba," and today he almost said "Momma!!" Woo hoo! We try hard every day to crawl, but he hasn't quiet figured it out yet. Boy am I going to get my exercise once he does start to crawl. Sam loves his sister. He really enjoys it when she plays with him. I have a slight feeling he is going to be a big biter though. When he gets aggravated at Savannah he will grab her hair and pull her face to his mouth and bite down on her face! It's funny now but probably won't be too funny once he gets a tooth! I always get complements on what a happy baby he is and he truly is. He never cries or fusses unless he needs something. We have been totally blessed with two good babies!!

Two more new post below so keep scrolling! ..........................
